Ajay Anand and Patrick Gildea Join the Twelve Member USATT Board of Directors at In-Person Orientation and Board Meeting Held in Colorado Springs

 

(Colorado Springs, CO – March 20, 2025) – USA Table Tennis (“USATT”) introduced two new Independent Board Members during the first meeting of the newly constituted twelve member USATT Board at the organization’s headquarters in Colorado Springs. Independent Directors Ajay Anand and Patrick Gildea were among ten Board members who attended the Board Orientation and in-person Board Meeting held at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Sport House in early March.


Anand is a senior leader in a major healthcare company and has over twenty-five years of senior global leadership in Digital business models, Marketing, Shared Services, and Corporate-wide Transformations across healthcare, consumer products, financial research, and telecom industries. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Gujarat University, India, and an MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Gildea is a Certified Public Accountant with a long and successful track record driving business strategy, growth, and transformation as a key advisor to organizations ranging from start-ups to large global public companies. Gildea has a broad range of experience in technology driven industries including digital media, entertainment, digital advertising, and e-commerce. His career has involved him in a wide array of business ventures including all aspects of sourcing, structuring, execution, and diligence related to capital raise, joint venture, partnering, licensing and M&A.


Anand and Gildea joined returning Independent Board Members, Kelly Watson, who was elected as the USATT Board Chair, and Richard Char, the outgoing Chair who will remain as a Member of the USATT Board in Colorado Springs. Other Board Members who attended the in-person meeting at the USOPC Sport House were Club Director Will Shortz, At-Large Directors Tuan Le, M.D., and Dell Sweeris, NCTTA Representative Kagin Lee, and Elite Athlete Directors Ian Seidenfeld and Tahl Leibovitz. Elite Athlete Directors Tom Feng and Amy Feng attended the orientation and Board Meeting via teleconference.
