2025 ITTF Pan American Championships Set to Make U.S. Debut in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Table tennis history will be made in 2025 as the prestigious ITTF Pan American Championships come to the United States for the first time. The event will be hosted and organized by USA Table Tennis, under the auspices and authority of the of the Pan American Table Tennis Federation (ITTF-Americas) and International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The championship event will take place from October 12-19, 2025, at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center, 28 miles outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 2025 event will be the 8th edition of the ITTF Pan American Championships. The invitation only event will feature the continent’s best table tennis athletes competing across seven events: Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Team, Women’s Team, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Play will be conducted in straight single elimination, upping the pressure and excitement for players and fans alike. With national pride and world-ranking points on the line, the competition will serve as a crucial qualifier for the 2026 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships in London, England.

The United States has a strong recent history at the Pan American Championships, with the U.S. Women’s Team winning gold in 2019 and 2023, and the U.S. Men’s Team claiming the title in 2024. With the home-court advantage in Rock Hill, US players will look to build on this success and compete for top honors in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.
