USA Table Tennis (USATT) announces a groundbreaking partnership with Eleven Table Tennis, the premier virtual reality (VR) table tennis platform. This collaboration will introduce cutting-edge VR table tennis experiences to USATT-affiliated clubs and sanctioned tournaments across the country.

By partnering with Eleven Table Tennis’s highly realistic and immersive virtual reality table tennis experience, USATT aims to provide another fun option for those wanting to play table tennis. The virtual reality format allows for increased accessibility, and the ability to engage a broader audience in the sport. This initiative will provide members and clubs new ways of playing table tennis – including exciting competition opportunities at future U.S. Nationals and U.S. Opens.

As part of this partnership:

  • USATT Basic Membership will now include sanctioned VR tournaments
  • USATT will develop a new sanctioning structure for VR events and VR tournaments
  • Wins/losses in VR sanctioned events will earn their own Eleven Table Tennis rating
  • USATT and Eleven Table Tennis will track USATT tournament results, club results and member ratings

“We are thrilled to partner with Eleven Table Tennis to bring virtual reality table tennis into our ecosystem,” said Virginia Sung, CEO of USATT. “This partnership represents a new era for our sport, where technology and tradition come together to expand opportunities for players of all levels.”

Eleven Table Tennis, known for its unparalleled lifelike gameplay and partnership with ITTF, has gained worldwide recognition as the leading virtual table tennis experience. Through this partnership, USATT clubs will have access to exclusive VR events, training programs, and competitions that complement traditional table tennis activities.

“We’re equally thrilled to partner with USATT to bridge the gap between virtual and real-world table tennis," said Roman Rehkler, co-creator of Eleven Table Tennis. "Eleven Table Tennis has already united players from around the world, and this collaboration allows us to push the boundaries of innovation and accessibility in the sport like never before.”

The integration of Eleven Table Tennis into USATT-affiliated clubs and sanctioned events will begin straightaway, with the first pilot programs launching this spring. Further details on participation, training modules, and competitive opportunities will be announced in the coming months.
