USA Table Tennis Announces Team for ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha 2025

USA Table Tennis (USATT) is proud to announce the roster of athletes who will represent the United States at the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in Doha, Qatar from May 17 to 25. The team is anchored by three Olympians, Kanak Jha, Lily Zhang and Amy Wang who all had standout performances at the 2024 Paris Olympics this summer. The four men’s team players, Jha, Liang, and the Naresh brothers were part of the history making team at the 2024 Pan Am Championships, winning gold for USA for the first time ever. The women’s team includes 4x Olympian Lily Zhang, 2x US Open Champion Amy Wang, Paris 2024 Olympic Alternate Sally Moyland and up and coming star Jessica Reyes-Lai.


The team brings together a dynamic blend of experience and emerging talent, aiming to showcase America's growing strength on the global table tennis stage.

The 2025 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships will be hosted across two premier venues in Doha: Lusail Multipurpose Hall, serving as the main venue and center stage for the championship, and Qatar University Sports Complex, which will host matches during the first four days of competition. This will be the second time Doha has hosted the World Championships, having made history as the first Middle Eastern country to host the event in 2004, 21 years ago. For all 5 medal events, the playing system will be straight knockouts, with singles played best of 7 and doubles played best of 5.
