If I purchase a USATT Lifetime Membership for $1300.00, in what tournaments and leagues am I permitted to play?
Lifetime Memberships are the equivalent of a "Pro Membership," and Lifetime Members get the same playing privileges as those persons who purchase the annual Pro Membership.
If I purchase a USATT Basic Membership, can I upgrade that Basic Membership to a Pro Membership by paying an additional $50.00 at a later date?
No. The USATT Basic Membership cannot be upgraded. However, you can become a USATT Pro Member at any time by paying the $75.00 fee. Of course, you will get a full year of the Pro Membership from the date of that $75.00 payment.
If I am a Basic Member, can I play in the US Nationals Regional Qualification Tournament ("RQT")?
Yes, all US Citizens can play in the RQT. A USATT Basic Member can play US Nationals Regional Qualification Tournament. You can become a USATT Basic Member at any time by paying the $25.00 fee.
If I am a USATT Basic Member, can I play in the US National Table Tennis Championships ("USNTTC")?
Yes, all US Citizens are eligible to play in the US National Table Tennis Championships (and US Residents who are not US Citizens can play in some events in the USNTTC. However, unless a person is a USATT Pro Member, that person must pay the Tournament Pass Fee ($50.00 for adults / $20.00 for Juniors) to play in the USNTTC. That Basic Member would have to pay the Tournament Pass Fee to play in the USNTTC.
If I am a USATT Basic Member and paid the $50.00 (or $20.00) Tournament Pass fee to plav in the US Nationals Table Tennis Championships, can I play in the US Open?
Yes, all persons can play in the US Open. However, unless a person is a USATT Pro Member, that person must pay the Tournament Pass Fee ($50.00 for adults / $20.00 for juniors) to play in the US Open. This includes USATT Basic Members, regardless of whether that Basic Member paid a Tournament Pass Fee to play in USNTTC.
