Team USA Para Table Tennis Men’s Singles Events Set to Begin

Ian Seidenfeld (MS6) and Jenson Van Emburgh (MS3) headline para table tennis for Team USA at Paris 2024.

Paris, France – The opening matches for the Paris 2024 Para Table Tennis Men’s Singles events have been announced, with Team USA kicking off their campaigns in their respective Round of 16’s. The Men’s Singles Class 3 and Class 6 events will take place on Monday, September 2, while the Class 9 event will begin on Tuesday, September 3.


In Men’s Singles Class 6, Ian Seidenfeld will compete at South Paris Arena 4 as he pursues his second gold medal for Team USA. His Round of 16 match will be against Great Britain’s Martin Perry.


The youngest Paralympian in the event, Jenson Van Emburgh, will represent the United States in Men’s Singles Class 3. He faces a tough challenge as he takes on Frenchman Sylvain Noel in front of a home crowd in the Round of 16.


On Tuesday, September 3, Tahl Leibovitz will begin his seventh Paralympic appearance for Team USA in the Men’s Singles Class 9 event in the Round of 16 against Ivan Mai of Ukraine. The official match time will be announced 24 hours prior to the match.
